Because only the best is good enough for your little one, Timboo only uses eco-friendly materials.

Bamboo grows like….bamboo. Sunlight alone is enough to make the plant grow considerably.

This makes bamboo one of the fastest growing plants in the world. Only the side branches are used for the production of textile, so a plant can be re-harvested every year. The old bamboo stays alive keeping the fertile soil in its place. The vast network of roots is extremely suitable for combating corrosion on barren, sloping hills that are the frequent result of chopping down the tropical rainforest.

Bamboo grows so fast because the hollow structure of the fibres enable the absorption of an exceptional amount of water. Because of this hollow structure, bamboo textile absorbs four times more moisture. Bamboo fibres also have a round surface making the fabric very smooth and feeling wonderfully soft.

What is also special about bamboo is that the plant creates its own antibacterial substance, making pesticides unnecessary. The production process itself is also eco-friendly; the fibres do not undergo any chemical process. Bamboo textile is therefore naturally antibacterial and fully biodegradable.

Bamboo is easy to grow and there are several harvests a year. In addition, the chances of a poor harvest are small. Greater demand thus provides good work and income opportunities in developing countries.

Timboo takes its responsibility.

All Timboo articles are made of natural materials. In addition to using bamboo and pure cotton, only eco-friendly materials are used for the packaging. We also use only 100% recycled paper for printed matter.
